Makes 8 brownies
Oven Temperature 200ºC/400ºF/Gas 6
Cooking Time 20-25 minutes
75g (3 oz) vegan chocolate
150g (6 oz) vegan margarine
150g (6 oz) soft brown sugar
150g (6 oz) self raising flour
1tsp natural vanilla essence
3 -4 tablespoons of soya milk
1) Melt the chocolate with the margarine in a bowl over a pan of boiling water.
2) Stir in the sugar, soya milk and vanilla essence, then add the flour. It’s a strange gloopy consistency!
3) Spread into shallow oblong tin and cook for about 20 minutes at 180ºC until cooked but still a bit squidgy.
4) Leave it in the tin to cool, then cut into slices.
