Cooking Time: 4-5 minutes
1 pack asparagus tips (100g (4 oz), about 12)
1 tbsp margarine or olive oil
Salt & pepper
1 small clove of garlic, crushed
1) Cook the garlic over gentle heat in the margarine or olive oil.
2) Boil the asparagus for 5 minutes until just tender, then drain.
3) Add the asparagus to the garlic and turn with a fork, season and serve. This makes a good starter with some crispy, grilled polenta and a dollop of homemade tomato sauce.
